WE ARE CELEBRATING TWO-SPIRIT, INDIGIQUEER, AND INDIGENOUS LGBTQPAI+ PEOPLE

We come to Tongva lands from many nations, lands, and waters...

Indigenous Pride LA is the only Pride organization and event in Los Angeles that celebrates and honors Two-Spirit, Indigiqueer, and Indigenous LGBTQPAI+ culture, identities, and heritage.

Indigenous Pride Los Angeles recognizes the need to have a space where Indigenous people from all lands, waters, and nations can meet and celebrate our Indigenous heritage, cultures, and identities. In our homelands and communities, we acknowledge that we cannot live in our truths because of the effects colonization and missionization had on our peoples. In addition, Indigenous Pride LA also acknowledges that Two Spirit, Indigiqueer, and Indigenous LGBTQPAI+ individuals have limited resources and access at most pride events in which we can not celebrate our unique identities.

2026 Indigenous Pride LA Fall Festival Canceled Following Weather Forecast

Due to forecasted weather conditions this weekend and out of concern for the safety and well-being of our attendees, exhibitors, performers, vendors, volunteers, and community members, the Board of Indigenous Pride LA has made the difficult but unanimous decision to cancel the 2026 Indigenous Pride LA Fall Festival.

All vendor application fees will be fully refunded. Additional information regarding the refund process will be communicated directly to affected vendors.

In making this decision, the Board also reflected on the devastating impacts that recent monsoon storms have had on Native communities throughout the Southwest, including the loss of loved ones and significant hardship. We recognize the respect and caution many Indigenous communities hold regarding severe weather events, and we honor those concerns as we prioritize community safety.

While we are deeply disappointed to cancel this year's Fall Festival, we remain excited about the future of Indigenous Pride LA. We are already planning a revitalized pow wow experience for 2027 and look forward to sharing more details in the coming months. We encourage our community to stay connected through our newsletter, website, and social media channels for updates and upcoming announcements.

We are also pleased to share that the Indigenous Queer Cinemas Book Launch will continue as scheduled on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Chapter House. Guests can enjoy complimentary food and refreshments and participate in a discussion with author Dr. Gabriel S. Estrada, Board Member of Indigenous Pride LA and the City of Angels Two-Spirit Society (CATSS), and Professor at California State University Long Beach. We warmly invite our community to join us for this special event and encourage attendees to RSVP through our website in advance.
